Steve Wyman is a serial entrepreneur; his skills and experience include start-up, financial management, operations management and development of SME businesses to £1m revenue.
Having started his career in microelectronic manufacturing during the 1980’s in the U.K., he rose from a technician level to senior project manager.
1990 saw him start an IT company. The focus was on selling complete IT system solutions, hardware and software, to individuals and small businesses. The company installed the custom-built systems and trained the customers how to use them. This business grew to a point where it also had corporate customers for PC’S, consumables and furniture.
From 1993-2003 Steve co-founded an IT systems house, specialising in the development of software targeting the Courier Management market. His roles included joint Managing Director, Financial Director and Operations Director with 4 managers and 11 employees.
During this time a computer furniture business was acquired, targeting schools in Hampshire. This business grew 25% over three years and was sold to the local authority.
The company grew to £1m turnover and 20 employees, and was identified by the Sunday times as one of the top ten fastest growing companies in Europe.
We were one of the very first companies to adopt a SAAS business model and we built our own data centre to facilitate our clients to outsource their IT.
Between 2003 and 2014 Steve has developed a number of small ventures and sold them. One example was a business that bought faulty iPods, refurbished and resold them or sold the parts. This was conducted on eBay. He also imported parts and accessories from china.
A life-long interest has been the buying, refurbishing and reselling of residential property.
Now living in Pattaya, Thailand, since September 2014, Steve has invested in condo units, with an emphasis on guaranteed income options.
He has also invests in the leasing and refurbishment of shop houses, creating both rooms to rent, on monthly contracts, and shop units available on annual or 3 yr contracts.
His current focus is on the creation of Binary Investments. A fund targeting investment in accommodation and leisure venture in Pattaya, Thailand.
